Your last four issues have included serious correspondence from Minehead residents about the clearly significant problem of noise and anti-social behaviour coming from the Butlin’s complex.

It seems to me that these letters represent a clear invitation for Butlin’s, the local authority and the police to reply, setting out in detail what they are separately and collectively doing to resolve the difficulties affecting the local community. No statements have appeared however.

At best this is a missed opportunity and a public relations oversight, but at worst it presumably means that the powers-that-be have no answer and are just going to let the matter ride.

Perhaps they could tell us which scenario applies.
