POLICE are searching for three men suspected of stealing a motorcycle from a West Somerset village in the latest in a series of similar thefts in recent months.

The Free Press reported recently on police investigating a spate of motorcycle thefts in the Minehead area which were being ‘hot-wired’ in the early hours and later dumped not far away.

Now, a red, 70-plate BMW S1000XR sport touring motorcycle was taken from Brook Street, Timberscombe, on Friday, April 3.

This time, however, the motorcycle failed to start and was loaded into a ‘dark vehicle’ which drove off in the direction of Minehead.

Three men were seen with the motorcycle at about 2.30 am.
