Daren John Kempson (aged 41) and Elizabeth Margaret Kempson (36), both of Marl Close, Yeovil, have pleaded guilty to charges of benefit fraud.
They did not declare Mrs Kempson's earnings, nor the work of their daughter. They also failed to declare a change of circumstances when Mr Kempson changed jobs.
As a result, they received benefit of £2,223 to which they were not entitled. Sentencing was adjourned until August 11th.
Nicholas Derek Larner (aged 36) of Mary Street, Yeovil, pleaded guilty to a charge of benefit fraud.
He returned to work and signed off at the JobCentre but when he continued to receive Housing Benefit cheques, he cashed them even though he knew he was not entitled to the money.
Benefit of £1,950 was overpaid as a result.
He was given a six-month community punishment order, and costs of £140 were also awarded.
