There will be a number of road closures across West Somerset this month. See the full details in this week's West Somerset Free Press.
Below are the latest closures declared by Somerset County Council:
Bremis Road in the parish of Dunster is set to be closed. The closure will begin 20 metres eastwards from the junction with Marsh Street for a total distance of 100 metres. The closure will come into force on February 13 and is set to be lifted by February 17.
There will be closures affecting Machine Cross, Jury Hill and Jury Road in the parish of Brompton Regis. The closure will begin from the junction with Amory Road eastwards, for a total distance of 1610 metres. The closure will commence on February 13 and is set to last until February 24. Works will take place between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm.
There will be a closure affecting Porlock Weir Road in the parish of Porlock. The closure will begin 160 metres north of the junction with Tor Road, north-westwards for 200 metres. The closure will come into force on February 27 and is set to be lifted on March 3.
In the parish of Crowcombe, the Broad Oak Hill to Roebuck Gate Lane and Statin Road route is set to be closed. The closure will commence on February 28 and is expected to last until March 13. Works will take place between 8 am and 6 pm.
Worthy Road in the parish of Porlock is set to be closed. The closure will come into affect along Worthy Road from the junction with Lane Head north-westwards for a total distance of 300 metres. The closure will come into force on February 16 and is set to end by February 24.
Station Road in the parish of Stogumber is set to be closed. The closure will begin from the junction with Quantock View north-eastwards for a total distance of 100 metres. Works are expected to commence on February 13 and are set to be completed by February 17.
Stogumber road, across the parishes of Stogumber and Crowcombe is set to be closed this month. The closure will begin from the junction with Castlelake Lane eastwards for a total distance of 167 metres. Works are scheduled to begin by February 27 and last until March 1.
High Street, Hill Street and Deane Close of the parish of Stogumber are set to be affected by closures. The closure will commence along High Street from the junction with Vellow Road for a distance of 80 metres; on Hill Street from the junction with Deane Close westwards for 150 metres; and on Deane Close from the junction with Hill Street southwards for 110 metres. Works are expected to commence on February 27 and conclude by March 10.
Ash Lane in the parish of Winsford is set to be closed this month. The closure is set to begin 1950 metres eastwards of the the junction with Room Hill Road for a total distance of 733 metres. The works are set to begin on February 15 at 8 am and conclude at 4 pm on the same day.
Withycombe Lane in the parish of Withycombe is set to be closed. The closure will begin 400 metres north-westwards from the junction with Culver Lane for a distance of 101 metres. Works are expected to begin on February 15 and conclude by February 17.
Sparkhayes Lane in the parish of Porlock is set to be closed. The closure will commence from the junction with Furzeland Road southwards for a total distance of 42 metres. The works are set to begin on February 27 and conclude by March 3. Works will take place between 8 am and 10 pm.
