SIR — On May 8 the many and varied local footpaths on EDF land closed.
We were supposed to get alternative routes but, with the exception of the coastal path, there is no such provision.
Yet another broken EDF promise.
No attempt would appear to have been made to link with paths on surrounding land.

Local walkers have not been given the opportunity to suggest alternative routes or to be involved in making decisions. It has been surrounded by a cloak of secrecy.
If this is an example of their "good neighbour" policy (their words not mine), then local people are in for a very rough ride.
