PICTURED are the winners of Home-Start West Somerset’s annual I-Spy competition.
Held over the Easter holiday, almost 70 Minehead shops, salons and offices took part by putting an out-of-place object in their window, and competitors had to identify as many as they could. Out of place items included everything from a tea bag to a plastic lobster!
Prizewinners were: 1 Abbie Sweet (West Somerset Railway family day pass), 2 Isabelle Dyer (Blueberry gift), 3 Ben McCormack (Tony Pryce voucher), 4 Olivia Gooding (Store 21 teddy), 5 Jessica Gooding (That Little Craft Shop gift), 6 Tobias William (Excom headphones), 7 Ellie McCormack (Salt Rock voucher), 8 Hollie and Peter Webber (Roly’s Pantry fudge) 9 Albert and Agatha Vickery (Exmoor Producers gift).
Home-Start expressed thanks to all the businesses who provided windows, sold entry forms and donated prizes, and all the I-Spyers who took the time to take part and make the competition such a success, raising over £230 for the charity.
Home-Start West Somerset is actively seeking volunteers to train to provide friendship and informal support to parents with children under the age of seven living in West Somerset.
