USERS of Minehead's Seahorse Centre have been given a lasting reminder of the part they played in a theatre and arts project.
The Somerset County Council-run centre for adults with learning disabilities was involved in a workshop run by Theatre Melange as part of the Echo Project - an Arts Council-funded initiative looking at people, places and the development of local communities.
The Seahorse Centre users photographed their favourite places in Minehead, with the snaps then used to make kites.
Footage of them flying them was shown as part of a special performance at the town's Regal Theatre last month.

And when the exhibition ended, centre staff wondered what would happen to the exhibits.
"The photographs had been blown up and framed by Exmoor Film and Digital in Minehead and the firm kindly agreed to donate them to the centre," said spokesman Helen Chave.
"We are thrilled to bits at their generosity."
