Details revealed of new Williton industrial units as part of Station Fields housingThe closure will restrict all vehicle access to the hospital through the Wellington Road entrance, while a crane which had been used in the construction of the new surgical centre is removed.
People needing to access the hospital in a vehicle have been advised to use the Parkfield Drive entrance while the closure is in force on Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3.
In a statement announcing the closure, a spokesperson for NHS Somerset FT, which manages the hospital, said:
“During this period, all access to the hospital site will be via the Parkfield Drive entrance. Essential patient access to the Beacon Centre will be maintained.
“To limit the inconvenience, advanced road diversion signage will be in place. We apologise for any inconvenience during this essential work.”
