SIR — With reference to the recent bad press about Blenheim Gardens, I would like to thank the gardening force sent last week. A lot of heavy clearing was achieved which would have been impossible by the gardener and a few volounteers. Several compliments have been received on the state of the gardens this week by locals and visitors to our town. Our 'jewel in the crown' is appreciated. Name and address supplied.
