BRITANNIA Inn crashed out of the Stella Artois Cup at the first hurdle, losing 7-1 away to Cyder Press from Division Two.
Milverton also went out, but only after a late equaliser and golden goal by opponents Hamilton Athletic.
Leading 1-0 with two minutes to go, Milverton looked safe, but Hamilton snatched the equaliser and then went through thanks to an own goal in extra time.
Four goals from top scorer Stewart Rich were not enough to save Wiveliscombe from being edged out 6-5 at home to Division One side Spartans.
In the first round of the Gardner Cup, Cross Farm Park Celtic from Division Three suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Division Five newcomers Millers 2K, bowing out 6-0 away.
And there were heavy defeats for Dunster, 13-1 away to Bishops Lydeard, and Carhampton, 11-1 away to Weavers.
In a Watchet-Williton derby, West Somerset Wanderers edged out Williton Rockets 3-2, but fellow Watchet side Blue Waves went down 5-3 at Crown Rams.
