ALCOMBE Rovers and Dulverton Town continue to struggle in Division One after both suffered home defeats on Saturday.
Rovers went down 4-1 at home to Redgate - their first win of the season - and only had themselves to blame, although Redgate's keeper was outstanding.
The visitors took the lead after 35 minutes as Alcombe appealed in vain for offside, and they added a second on the stroke of half-time.
The second half was evenly contested for 35 minutes, but then Redgate struck again to make it 3-0.

Dulverton's defeat was less unexpected as they went down 5-1 to Sydenham, who have now notched up eight wins in a row.
Bishops Lydeard were 4-2 winners away to Middlezoy.
Early efforts by Richie Rich,. Luke Taylor and Paul Long were thwarted by the Taunton keeper before the home side took the lead after 15 minutes, Porlock's defence being caught flat, allowing an onside forward to slot home a low shot.
Porlock stepped up a gear and pulled level when Long fired home after good work by R Wood, and the latter made it 2-1 when he finished off a flowing move on the right flank.
With half-time approaching, Taunton made it 2-2 when Porlock failed to clear a corner.
Porlock went in search of a quick goal after the break and were soon ahead again through Taylor.
That was the signal for the side's youngsters to push forward, and with Rich and Taylor linking well, three more goals came from them, Rich netting twice and Taylor once.

Watchet Reserves drew 1-1 at home to Spaxton and Bishops Lydeard Reserves picked up a point away to Westonzoyland with a 3-3 draw.
An improved display from West Somerset Sports brought them a 4-1 home win over Wyvern Reserves in Division Three.
A cagey first half ended goalless, with Sports having the better chances but Wyvern's keeper denying them with some fine saves.
Chances continued to come and go in the second half, but Sports finally broke the deadlock when Lee Todd was fouled in the area after a good run and converted the penalty himself.
Alex Dixon, Tony Hills and Todd all had glorious chances to extend the lead but Wyvern's keeper continued to frustrate them.
The second goal came when Todd made another good run and set up a close-range effort for Mark Williams.
Wyvern pulled one back when a cross eluded keeper Chris Betts and dropped into the net, and they should have added more as Sports lost their composure.
However, Sports got back on course when Hills fired home a blistering 20-yard shot, and Todd then set up Williams to power a shot into the roof of the net.
It was a deserved victory in which Taffy Long was voted man of the match.

A Division Five derby saw Williton beat Minehead Celtic 2-0 at home.
Dinamo Watchet had a good 4-3 win away to White Hart Reserves, but Porlock Reserves' unbeaten start to the season ended with a 7-0 thrashing at home to Nether Stowey Reserves.
The first half saw both sides waste some good chances before Stowey broke through the Porlock defence on the half-hour and beat helpless keeper Binding, who had produced some good saves to keep the scores level.
Going into the second half it was anybody's game, but within two minutes Stowey went 2-0 up with a shot which beat Binding at his near post.
This opened the floodgates and five more goals were scored as the Porlock defence was caught flat-footed time and again.
Porlock had no answer to Stowey's superiority and only created a couple of chances, Taylor having a shot saved on the line and Groves unlucky not to score with a header from a Swallow cross.
Porlock Reserves: N Binding, D Healey, K Griffiths, R Winters, I Goodrum, R Addicott, G Mair, I Groves, N Coward, A Taylor, S Rimmer, subs L Cowling, P Swallow (both used).
