SIR — I have recently taken over from Chrissie Payne as co-ordinator of the West Somerset Food Cupboard based at St Michael the Archangel Church in Alcombe.

Chrissie has done an amazing job and is an extremely hard act to follow, but I feel really privileged to take on the role.

I would like to thank all those individuals and organisations who have already been so generous this year, donating food items and money to help us continue our work.
