A coffee morning at St Michael’s Church in Alcombe on Saturday raised more than £300 for Thyroid Cancer Support West.

The charity supports anyone in the West Country affected by thyroid cancer and has so far supplied items such as hairdryers, bedding, slippers, water boilers and fridges for the rooms at Bristol, Exeter and Cheltenham hospitals where patients are treated in isolation.
