WATCHET and District Choral Society has presented £250 to West Somerset Talking Newspapers at its Williton studio.
It was raised at the society’s Christmas concert at Watchet Methodist Church.
Talking Newspaper chairman Roger Hurst spoke to the audience about the work performed by the small group of dedicated volunteers.
The concert directed by David Knight was well supported and always popular.
The choir’s next concert in Watchet will be ‘Olivet to Calvary’, again at Watchet Methodist Church, on March 30.
