For many years, Watchet man Cedric Lewis decorated his house for the town’s annual Christmas lights competition, but because of poor health, his daughter and family in Liddymore Road took over the tradition – and raised £70 through a box outside the house, and other donations were added to take the total to £110.

Cedric’s granddaughter Jessica is pictured presenting the cheque to Margaret Tatham. The money will go to the Alzheimer’s Society.
