MAYOR of Minehead Jean Parbrook opened the summer fete at Dunster Lodge which raised over £500 for the residents.

Lovely weather made everyone’s hard work worthwhile, ensuring it was a fun filled and successful afternoon. 

Residents and visitors sat in the sun and enjoyed the music of the Watchet Town Band and the Acorn Shanty Singers. 

The mayor was presented with a bouquet by Holly, the daughter of one of the carers.
