COLOURFUL Natalia Carey and her pony Cherry caught the eye at this year’s Cutcombe Show when, dressed as clowns, they swept to victory in the fancy dress class.
Crowds sweltered in the heat at Dunkery Hill on show day - which was also Fathers’ Day, so the entertainment included novel races for dads and kids.
There was also the popular dog show and Minehead Harriers, who paraded on foot due to the intense heat.
Harold and Phylis Stevens hosted the event, which is ultimately for the benefit of the school, village and the local community.
Show entries were variable with some full classes, but some less well supported.
A full report and results are in this week’s Free Press (June 30).
