AN Easter parade of bonnets made by children will be a major attraction at Watchet’s first street fair of the season, to be held on The Esplanade on Easter Sunday.

And afternoon entertainment includes two sessions by the Darktown Strutters traditional jazz band.
“There will be prizes for the best bonnets so we are hoping for a really good turnout of junior fashion models for the Sunday morning parade,,” said organiser Molly Quint.
“And there will be plenty of other children’s entertainment, too.
The fair will be on the first Sunday of every month until October: “It was a great success last year and we are looking forward to some really big crowds,” Molly said.
