TIMBERSCOMBE parishioners raised over £1,100 towards much-needed toilet facilities when they celebrated St Petrock’s feast day, June 4.

People packed the Village Hall to hear Mary Siraut from Somerset Victoria County History, gave a lecture on ‘Timberscombe and its Neighbours’, which was followed by an exhibition in the church.
The bellringers gave numerous demonstrations of their skill over the weekend and hope that some new recruits may have been found.
The money raised will be added to the fund to provide a toilet for the grade two listed church which is much needed by the community.
