A FOUR-hour endurance spin is being held in Minehead on Saturday, January 25, to raise funds for St Margaret’s Hospice.

Somerset Activity and Sport Partnership (SASP) is running the event in The Beach Hotel’s fitness suite which has allowed use of the studio and its indoor bikes.

People may enter as individuals or as part of a team, splitting the spinning time between themselves.

The challenge, in memory of Simon Antonelli from 9am to 1pm, lasts from 9am to 1pm, and bikes can be booked for £20 – contact Suzanne Richards on 07853 898 231 or Katheryn Antonelli 07753 319 858 or email [email protected].

There is also an appeal for cakes for the event and anyone who would like to help take buckets up and down the town for 30 minutes or so to collect money would be greatly appreciated.

Suzanne said: “The hospice is vital to many family and friends going through very difficult times. It provides the care, love and support for those days to be lived in as much comfort as possible.

“One in three people will need the support of the hospice in their lifetime. St Margaret’s Hospice is not part of the NHS and needs all our support in fundraising to enable them to continue to help and support people and families.”
