It has been recommended that 40 mph speed limits should be introduced on approach roads to Vagg Hill Crossroad, near Yeovil.

MP David Laws, who has campaigned for the move, said: "I have been very concerned about this crossroad for some time, and hope the new speed limit will reduce the speed of drivers as they approach this dangerous junction.

"I hope these recommendations are carried out swiftly."
