NEW Year volunteers are being sought by charity Somerset Sight to support people with visual impairments live a more independent life in 2025.
Somerset Sight has been providing services for blind or partially sighted people since 1919 and also has a mobile advisory service which visits towns and villages across the area on a regular rota.
A spokesperson said: “We are looking for more volunteers to visit people once a fortnight through our befriending service.
“You would receive support from us in your role and all reasonable expenses are paid.
