Shelagh Meldrum, chief nursing officer and director of operations at NHS Somerset, said: "We would like to ask everyone in Somerset to take a moment on Sunday, March 9, to reflect and remember. Whether by lighting a candle, sharing stories, or simply offering a kind word to someone who has been impacted.
“I know from first-hand experience the impact the pandemic had on our healthcare colleagues as well as our wider communities. It was a time none of us will forget.”
