AUTHORS who write about the local area will be talking about their books and reading from their work at Minehead’s Beach Hotel on Friday (September 29) from 2 pm to 4 pm at a free event which is part of the Somerset and Exmoor Coast Festival, which ends on Sunday.

A spokesperson for the festival said: “It is a chance to meet some of our local authors, and ask questions about their writing while enjoying free tea/coffee and light bites.

“The afternoon promises to delight and fascinate the most avid bookworms among us as well as the more casual reader, with an assembly of eclectic publications and authors who have drawn inspiration from the local area.”

The writers attending the event are Marion Lindsay-Noble, Allan Bunyan, Janet Jones, Lynn Cleaver, Michael J Fennessy, Sally Bainbridge, Sue and Geoff Lloyd, and Steve Bratt.
