RESIDENTS of a Williton care home will be enjoying some trips out thanks to the generosity of local singing enthusiasts. Somerset Care-owned Croft House received a £500 boost to its residents' amenity fund from the Watchet Choral Society. And the donation will help pay for day trips, visits to local pubs and entertainment. Croft House manager Madeleine Flanagan said the home was very grateful to the society members. "We depend on this sort of generosity to provide those little extras for our residents," she said. "It means so much to them and the activities, trips and entertainment are so much enjoyed."
