PUPILS from two West Somerset schools dipped into their artistic skills when they took part in a 'creative arts carousel' event.
Year seven and eight youngsters from Dulverton Middle School joined year nine students and staff at the West Somerset Community College for the experience.
The theme of metamorphosis was explored through workshops in music, drama, art, textiles and English.
Activities ranged from costume design and creative writing to Henry Moore-inspired sculpture and design and surrealist drama.
Mark Westwood, subject leader for music, said: "The day was a fantastic collaboration project bringing together the older students at Dulverton Middle with some of the younger students at the college."
