Santa Claus will be making his annual visit to Watchet on Christmas Eve and is looking forward to seeing everyone.

His sleigh will take off from Cherry Tree Way at 5pm, calling at Normandy Avenue, Cassino Road, Mariners Way, Reed Close, Maglands Road, the top of Liddymore Road, Quantock Road, South Road, Woodland Road, Risdon Road, Grove Close, Flowerdale Road, Wristland Road, Roman Way, Ramon Avenue, Helwell Green, Culvercliffe Road, Holm View, Kingsland, Doniford Road, Norton’s Corner, Anchor Street, Mill Street, Whitehall, S Audries Court, Swain Street, Market Street, West Street and Lorna Doone – please be patient and listen for his sleigh bells!

During his visit, he will be presenting the prizes for Watchet LIVE’s Christmas illuminations competition – these will include the best illuminated street and house and the best decorated shop window.

Santa asks all parents and their visitors to leave plenty of space for his sleigh to pass along the roads so that his reindeer and helpers don’t get hurt and he can carry on his way without any delay.

He looks forward to seeing all children – young and old!
