THE bands played, the views were stunning, the food was tasty – and even the loos were first class, as adults and children found the first ever Samphire Festival went down an absolute treat.
More than 800 people flocked to the new festival’s site on Porlock Hill overlooking the bay, for the event which started last Friday and finished on Sunday.
Billed as family friendly and a chance to leave mobiles and technology behind while relaxing in a stunning environment, the festival saw all age groups enjoying the diverse mix of bands and activities – from adults well into their 60s dancing to the music to babies in pushchairs and young children enjoying everything from food to face painting.
