CLOWNS – Creative Learning Opportunities in WesterN Somerset – has been given a £450 boost thanks to people prepared to go the extra mile.

The money was raised by athletes taking part in the ‘Ironman 70.3 UK’ in June 2015.

It was presented by Rotary Club of Minehead and the Quantocks secretary Peter Conrad and president David Saunders at the Minehead Eye, CLOWNS’ base.

Jo Phippen, who received the cheque, said: “CLOWNS support children and families across western Somerset and rely on donations from the local community and are very grateful for this donation.”
