THE annual town meeting for Minehead will be held on Tuesday evening (May 7) providing an opportunity for residents to question councillors any issues of concern.

Minehead 2025 Christmas sparkle hasn't faded - but 2026 volunteers sought alreadyThe meeting, at 7.30pm in the Community Centre, Irnham Road, will be chaired by Minehead Mayor Cllr Craig Palmer, who will present an annual report from the town council.
Reports will also be made by local organisations and groups which have received grants and/or support from the council during the past 12 months.
A representative of the Minehead Together business group, which succeeded the town’s Business Improvement District (BID) committee, will give a verbal update.
Cllr Palmer will then present the Royal Horticultural Society ‘In Your Neighbourhood’ awards to local winners.
The council’s own annual meeting, where a new mayor and deputy mayor will be elected, will be held a week later on May 14, also taking place in the Community Centre.
