A MINEHEAD church and funeral directors are holding a special event on Sunday (December 9) for those who may be finding it hard to plan for Christmas because they are missing loved ones.

Robson Stephens Funeral Directors, of Park Street, and Minehead United Reformed Church are hosting ‘Time to Remember and Reflect’ in the church in Bancks Street at 3pm.

The reflective service will be led by ministers the Rev Viv Henderson and the Rev Tim Hodge along with people from Robson Stephens’ Minehead and Watchet offices.

During the service, there will be an opportunity to light candles, place tags on a Christmas tree in memory of departed loved ones and sing a few familiar carols.

Although the service is open to all, those wishing to attend are asked to contact Robson Stephens for catering purposes.
