A BABY reindeer proved to be one of the most popular attractions at this year's Dulverton by Starlight on Sunday.

Children were allowed to have their photographs taken with baby Snowdrop and mum Belle, while a trip to Father Christmas in his grotto was also a must.

Street entertainers helped to add to the magical atmosphere, while Wiveliscombe Town Band, Bampton Handbell Ringers and Exmoor Voices all joined in the fun.

The West Somerset Morris Men performed in Fore Street and the town's three churches joined forces to lead carol singing by the light of the town's Christmas tree in Bank Square.

Other attractions included a popular exhibition of nativity sets in Dulverton Town Hall and the chance to see a model railway exhibition in the heritage centre.

The event culminated with a grand fireworks finale and an evening of Irish folk music at the Rock House Inn.
