SOMERSET Care employees Kerry Stanley from Croft House in Williton and Sara-Jayne Locke from the West Somerset Community Services team scooped honours in the Great South West Care Awards.
The pair attended a glittering ceremony held in Bristol, which hosted by well known compere and comedy actor Steve Wells, and were named as regional winners in their respective categories.
Sara-Jayne won the Care Newcomer Award while Kerry took the top honours in the Frontline Leaders Award.
They will now compete in the Great British Care Awards national final in London.

"All of the staff here at Croft House are excellent and it's fantastic to see one of the team members being recognised regionally."
Sarah Ashby, care manager, added: "All the members of the community services team are so proud of Sara-Jayne for receiving a regional care award.
"She's a dedicated member of the team here in West Somerset and we couldn't be happier."
Somerset Care provides residential and nursing care for older people and provides community support to people in their own homes.
