A local couple have been presented with the Adult Recognition Certificate for supporting the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

John and Barbara Henson received their award from South Somerset field officer Anne Blight at a ceremony held at The Prince of Wales, Ham Hill.

Also present were the couple's sons, Ian and Robert. Both are involved in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award programme - Robert as a member of Yeovil Golds (a voluntary group) and Ian as expedition co-ordinator for south Somerset.
