MEMBERS of the Minehead branch of the Mothers' Union used steam power to help mark the national organisation's 125th anniversary.
Union branches all over the country are being called on to donate items to a time capsule, which left Westminster Abbey on June 7 for a journey the length and breadth of Britain.
It contains a message from the Queen, the MU patron, and a statement of what the organisation stands for.
The Minehead leg of the 'Journey of Hope' was completed courtesy of staff at the West Somerset Railway.

It was taken to Bishops Lydeard and from there on to Wells Cathedral in a 1926 Alvis car and Bath in an open-top bus before heading North from Bristol Cathedral.
