THE Queen’s 90th birthday was celebrated by 43 members of the Lysaght Club in Old Cleeve and raised £230 for the RNLI on Sunday, June 12.

The 43 members present took part in a fun quiz with questions based on the life of the Queen and her long reign.

Dainty sandwiches and cakes a plenty were provided and Ruth Holmes made a birthday cake fit for a queen.

The event was run by Georgina Smeeth, Angie Ovens, Margaret Cook and Judi Stabb.
