An unusual attraction at the West Somerset Railway Diesel Gala was a stall selling beer pump clips.

Margaret Tatham, of Watchet and area Dementia Action Alliance, set up the stall at Washford station which hosted a festival featuring 18 different beers from Somerset and Dorset. 

Among those working at the bar was Mark Hill (pictured), of the West Somerset Railway.

Margaret – pictured having a taste of some wheat beer – said £45 was raised for Watchet DAA: “Many thanks to the station, the WSR and the donor of the pump clips,” she added.

Margaret is now looking for more venues to sell the pump clips.
