POSTERS from 40 years ago have inspired a new, permanent feature at the Regal Theatre in Minehead.
And now a 'wanted' poster is being added in the form of an appeal for similar treasures to exhibit.
The Archive Project, timed to coincide with completion of the building work at the theatre, will pull together all available material from the Regal's long and distinguished history.
Posters that were recently framed and hung on the main stairway created a lot of interest, as did the photographs of past productions that were previously displayed.

Even three dimensional artefacts, equipment, costumes or props from past productions - anything that speaks of the theatre's history - would be gratefully received.
A drop-in session has been arranged for Tuesday April 6, between 10am and 3pm, when it is hoped people will bring in photographs, programmes, posters, tickets, publicity material, autographs from past performers or correspondence.
Copies can be made if anyone has something to offer but which they would prefer to loan.
A small team of people will be at the theatre during the drop-in session to assist, make photographic copies, and to listen to and record people's memories. Tea and coffee will be provided.
Funding has been secured for the Archive Project. Anyone wishing to contact Lewis and Andy may leave a message for them at the theatre box office.
