People in Watchet who add a touch of sparkle to their streets, homes, shops and businesses will be in with a chance of winning in this year’s Watchet Illuminations Competition. 

Run by Watchet Live Carnival, it starts on December 20 and the judges are totally independent, coming from outside the area.

Father Christmas will present prizes to the ‘best illuminated house, best street and best decorated business/shop window on his annual Christmas Eve visit, travelling around Watchet on Santa’s Sleigh.
