PORLOCK Horticultural and Crafts Society Summer Show – offering more than just crafts and flowers – takes place in Porlock Village Hall on Saturday. 

Flower classes include roses, sweet peas, hydrangeas and herbaceous perennials. 

There will also be classes of vegetables, fruit, floral arrangements, handicrafts, photographs, homemade drink and children’s entries.

Plants will be for sale, and there will be a book stall, a raffle and homemade refreshments. 

The show opens at 2pm and closes with the presentation of cups and trophies at 4.30pm. Entry is £1 adults, free for members of the society and children.
