PORLOCK Horticultural and Crafts Society will be holding its spring show in the village hall on Saturday, March 17.

Floral classes include narcissus, early spring shrubs, and other seasonal flowers. 

There are decorative and cookery classes, classes for homemade drink, and classes specifically for children including a display of artwork from pupils of St Dubricius School. 

Plant sales, a book stall, a raffle and homemade refreshments will also be on offer during the show, which runs from 2pm to 4.30pm and culminates in a presentation of cups and trophies. 

Entry is £1 with society members; free entry for children.
