A SEQUINNED Santa showing off his dance moves beat off tough competition to be crowned the winner in this year’s Porlock Santa Festival.
Santas of all shapes and sizes have been on display across the village for the past two weeks with 24 featured on a special Santa Trail.
Visitors and locals have been voting for their favourite and, when voting closed last Saturday, it was ‘Santa Does Strictly’ by Myrtle Cottage B&B that won the overall prize.
Santa Festival organiser Chris Gladstone said: “The festival was a great success and we had more people voting for their favourite than we’ve ever had before.
“The standard of creations increases year after year and we want to thank everyone for taking part.”
The Santas will remain in place until after Christmas for anyone wanting to see the festive spectacle.
