buggies plus the older generation, it would be very helpful if the people of Williton, both social and private, would please cut back your hedges and shrubs which border the pavements around the village.

Too many of them have overgrown, many with hawthorn and sharp thorns protruding, often at eye level of children and adults.

Also, some of them are the responsibility of the council.

It forces people out on to the grass verges and even on to the road. This is made bad enough with drivers parking on pavements.

Please think of other people’s safety.
