At its meeting last week, the committee passed outline plans for six houses on a former plant nursery site on the A39.
It also agreed to a development of ten houses on land currently used as allotments north of Huish Lane, Washford.

But permission is subject to financial contributions to education and community infrastructure totalling nearly £55,000 plus 100 per cent affordable housing on the Huish Lane site, car parking and replacement allotments.
