WESSEX Water is to carry out new connection works in Roman Way, Watchet, resulting in the road being closed from June 9 to 13.

PERMANENT reinstatement works being carried out by Wessex Water in Shurton Road, Stogursey, will see it closed between 9 am and 5 pm on June 9.

POLING works by Openreach means closing the Lyddons Cross to White Post road in Brompton Regis between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm on June 23.

KIELY Bros will be carrying out pre-surface dressing patching works on behalf of Somerset Highways in Drapers Way, Timberscombe, necessitating its closure between 7 am and 7 pm daily from June 9 to 27.

A WATER mains replacement project will see Wessex Water close Broad Oak Hill, Deans Cross to Broad Oak, Station Road, and Broad Oak Hill to Roebuck Gate Lane, in Crowcombe and Stogumber parishes, from June 9 to July 11.

A TEMPORARY 30 mph speed limit will apply on the A358 Flaxpool Hill, Crowcombe, on June 11 between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm to allow safe access for Airband Community Internet Ltd to manholes and cabling.

EVENING closures will take place in Dulverton on a rolling schedule between 7 pm and 4 am nightly from June 9 to 14 while Openreach recovers redundant cabling in Battleton, Station Road, Riphay Cross to Allers Down Lane, Trackfordmoor Cross to Riphay Cross, and Twelve Acre Post to Trackfordmoor Cross.

HARWOOD Cross to Waydown Cross, Timberscombe, will be closed daily between 7 am and 7 pm from June 9 to 13 while Kiely Bros carries out pre-surface dressing patching works on behalf of Somerset Highways.

THE creation of an onsite SEN unit at Knights Templar Community Church School, Watchet, is being proposed by Somerset Council to cater for children with autism. Anybody who wants to make representations should do so by June 30.
