WOODFORD Road, Nettlecombe, will be closed for six hours on April 15 between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm while Openreach renews telecoms equipment.

A 10-day closure has been approved for Higher Rodhuish Road, Withycombe, for Walters to carry out repairs to collapsing masonry, a retaining wall, and failing carriageway on behalf of Somerset Council Structures from April 16 to 25.

CABLING works by Openreach will result in the closure of West Luccombe Road, Luccombe, between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm daily from May 1 to 15.

OPENREACH is to carry out cabling, desilting, and pole testing works which will require the daily closure between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm of Room Hill Road, Chibbet Post to Newland Cross, and Chibbet Post to Exford via Court Farm, in Exford parish, from April 28 to 30.

EXMOOR National Park Authority has received planning applications 6/13/25/001 for work at Ford Cottage, Exmoor White Horse Inn, Exford, 6/27/25/002LB for work to the Old Rose and Crown, Porlock, 6/10/25/008LB for work to Priory Gate House, Dunster, 6/10/25/009 for work in St Georges Street, Dunster, and 6/27/25/004 for work on land off Bossington Lane, Porlock, the details of which can be viewed in its Dulverton headquarters or on its website.

A TEMPORARY 40 mph speed limit will be in force when indicated by traffic lights on the A39 Minehead Road through the parishes of Luccombe and Selworthy between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm daily from April 22 to 30 while Openreach carries out cabling works on an underground structure.

THE renewal of telecoms equipment by Openreach in Woodford Road, Nettlecombe, will see the road closed for six hours from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm on April 15.

PARK Street, Dunster, will be closed for five days from April 21 to 25 while Wessex Water carries out new connection works.
