WATCHET’S Phoenix Centre has been presented with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service – the highest given to volunteer groups – at a crowded ceremony at the centre last Thursday (October 11)

Presenting a crystal trophy and a certificate, Somerset Lord Lieutenant Annie Maw said it was a very special accolade given to very few organisations.
