SIR — I was very impressed by last week’s letter and from the PCC of All Saints Church in Dulverton.

The church’s position was stated clearly, honestly and courteously.

I believe that the PCC has acted mindfully and prayerfully in making its plans for using Joyce Burton’s generous and unconditional gift to the church in the most sustainable way that will be of the greatest possible benefit to the community.
