I was walking with my dog in North Road, Williton, a few days ago when a cyclist rode at speed behind me and on to the pavement.

I narrowly avoided a collision.

By the time I had recovered, the rider had sped around the corner, still on the pavement.

I would respectfully remind all riders of cycles, scooters and mobility scooters that pavements are for pedestrians, who have priority at all times.

Therefore please be responsible and give way to people on the pavement.
