A ONE-day workshop to help Exmoor businesses understand how nature and wildlife tourism can benefit them will be held in Porlock next month.

The session in the village hall will take place from 10 am to 3,30 pm on Wednesday, May 6.

An Exmoor National Park Authority spokesperson said: “Hear from experts on the value of wildlife in tourism, new opportunities, including species reintroductions, and practical tips to bring your ideas to life.

“Take part in interactive workshops, connect with others over lunch and refreshments, and share ideas in a relaxed, collaborative setting.”

The day will include an Exmoor ranger-led walk on Porlock Marsh to explore its unique landscape 30 years after a storm reshaped the coastline.

Workshop places need to be booked online.
